In addition, it is worth noting that there is no distinction between Greek and French students in terms of admission requirements, degrees, and recognition of studies, as well as the cost of enrolling in university.

2. The educational system of the country

Undergraduate studies in France (“License”) last 3 years. Applications are open from January 20 to March 20 and the student has the opportunity to submit applications to up to 12 universities. Postgraduate studies in France last for two years. Greek students whose degree consists of 4 years of study, have the opportunity to be admitted directly to the second year of study, if it is the same subject of study.

3. Tuition fees and accommodation costs in France

Public universities in France offer very low tuition costs, with only a registration fee of €181 per year for undergraduate studies and €256 for masters in France. Tuition fees at private institutions vary by program, with MBA programs usually being the most expensive. Monthly living costs for students in France typically range from €800 to €1,200, depending on the city.

4. Admission requirements to universities in France

English-speaking universities in France sets its own admission requirements for their programs. Basic conditions for an undergraduate program are the High School Diploma with Panhellenic examination, Certification of the French language (B2 at least), a letter of recommendation from a teacher, and a letter of motivation. Basic requirements for a postgraduate degree in public universities in France are a Bachelor’s Degree and an official transcript of grades (Authentic and Certified Translations), Certification of the language of the study program, Letters of recommendation from teachers or employers, Letter of motivation, and CV.
