Meet our expert teachers
Spyros Koutsodontis
He has been creating and teaching preparatory programs since the late 1970s. In 1981, he founded the 'Koutsodontis prep center’. He holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens and a postgraduate degree in Business Research from the University of Sussex. He was a professor at the American College of Greece (Deree College) from 1977 to 1990.
Manolis Koutsodontis
He studied Mathematics at the University of Athens and completed a master's degree at King's College of the University of London (MSc in International Management). He specializes in teaching and supervising GMAT preparation programs since 1998. Every year many of his high-achieving students have managed to rank in the official TOP 5% worldwide.
Polixeni Stavrou
With a bachelor's in English Language Studies from the University of Brighton and a master's in Applied Linguistics from the University of Sussex, she has spent over 15 years in education, specializing in teaching standardized tests and nurturing critical thinking skills. Her experience includes curriculum development and participation in international training programs, all aimed at delivering high-quality education.

- What is the GMAT Focus Edition test and why do I need it?
The GMAT Focus Edition Test is an aptitude test, which examines the candidate’s quantitative, verbal and analytical ability. It is a key factor for your admission to a postgraduate program abroad as well as to English-taught programs in Greece, as it is a criterion to evaluate candidates in more than 7,700 programs in the world. A high GMAT score will give you a head start in the university application process (evaluation) and can also strengthen your CV in the job market.
- What are the GMAT Focus sections?
The Gmat Focus exam consists of 3 parts: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights.
- What GMAT score do universities require?
There is no pass or fail in the GMAT test. Each university sets its own minimum score as a prerequisite for the candidate’s admission to a postgraduate program. The higher your GMAT score, the higher your chances of acceptance. The Gmat Focus test’s scoring scale is 205-805. The average score of our students exceeds 650 and, thus, meets the universities’ requirements and helps obtain scholarships.
- How difficult is the GMAT Focus?
GMAT Focus is a demanding test, which is why it is an aptitude test. Our Prep Center has prepared thousands of students with their successes being in the top 1% of the world ranking. Our extensive experience, unique expertise and continuous development are the right resources for the optimal performance of students.
- For how long are the GMAT scores valid?
The results of the GMAT for admission to a university are valid for 5 years.
- What is the cost of the GMAT exam and where do we take the exam?
The cost of the GMAT exam is 275 euros + VAT for the exam at the test center & 300 euros + VAT for the online exam (Home Edition). The GMAT test center is at the Athens Tower, “Pearson vue”: Athens Tower – Building B, 4th floor, Mesogeion Street, Ampelokipoi.
- How often are the GMAT exams held?
GMAT exams are held approximately two to three times a week at the test center and almost daily at GMAT Home Edition.
- What should my knowledge background be in order to attend the preparation?
You need to be a high school graduate and have at least a B2 level of English proficiency.
- Are Gmat Focus simulation tests included in the preparation? For how long will I have access to them?
We have developed Gmat Focus computer adaptive simulation software exclusively for our students, which offers a great prediction of the final GMAT score. You can take the GMAT Focus simulation tests at our center or at your place. You have access to the simulation tests even after completing the courses.
