- What is the TOEFL test?
The TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) is a test that assesses the level of English language proficiency. It is administered in more than 180 countries, and over 12,000 universities, colleges, institutes, and educational organizations worldwide require the TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) as a prerequisite for admission to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral programs.
- What do I need to know in order to attend the classes?
You need to have at least a B2 level of English.
- Is my English proficiency level sufficient to attend the classes?
We recommend that you visit us to take a free diagnostic TOEFL test and to receive appropriate guidance.
- What is the structure of the TOEFL test?
The test consists of 4 sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
The Listening Section lasts for 36 minutes and consists of 28 questions.
The Reading Section lasts for 35 minutes and consists of 2 passages with 10 questions each.
The Writing Section lasts for 29 minutes and consists of an Integrated Writing task and a Writing for an Academic Discussion task.
The Speaking Section lasts for 16 minutes and assesses the examinee’s ability to speak English effectively in an academic setting.
- I have an English Proficiency qualification. Do I need to prepare for the TOEFL test for admission to my desired university?
In most cases, proficiency alone is not sufficient, and it is highly likely that you will be required to take the TOEFL.
- For how long are the TOEFL scores valid?
The results of the TOEFL for admission to a university are valid for 2 years.
- How much is the TOEFL exam fee?
The TOEFL exam fee is $245.
- How often are the TOEFL exams held?
TOEFL exams are conducted approximately three times per month with physical presence at the testing center, and TOEFL Home Edition exams are available almost daily.
- Are simulation tests included in the preparation? For how long will I have access to them?
